Face Mask Required
Wearing Face Mask
Drivers are required to wear a face mask to
help protect the health and safety of everyone, we are requiring face mask or face
coverings to be worn throughout the duration of the trip, repeated violation of
the mask policy may result in drivers losing access to our platform.
To help protect the health and safety of
everyone face coverings or face masks being worn are mandatory for anyone
riding or driving on the Connect Tnc platform. Any driver or rider who is
required to wear a face covering and failed to do so repeatedly will
permanently lose their access to the Connect Tnc platform.
My Rider as not wearing a mask
A rider not wearing a face mask throughout the
entire trip, violates the mask policy. To report a rider who was not wearing a
face mask or covering Click
Here. Drivers can refer to the link for the CDC's guidance regarding how to
wear a face cover or mask.
Why am I being asked to take a photo of myself
wearing a face covering or mask
Public health officials are making
recommendations requiring that individuals to wear a mask or face cover in
various places and situations. Providing us with a photo helps verify the
presence of a face cover or mask so that we may aid in keeping drivers and
riders safe.
Sit in the back by policy
To help keep as much distance between riders
and drivers; riders are no longer permitted to sit in the front seat of any
vehicle while on a trip using Connect Tnc’s platform.
What if my rider gets into the front seat?
Riders have been informed that the use of front
seating has been terminated for the time being and getting into the front seat
will exceed the new passengers limit of the vehicle drivers should politely explain
the new back seat policy to the rider.
Exemptions
Not every rider may be able to use the back
seat, this requirement does not apply to individuals who are unable to use the
back seat due to their medical condition and or disability. In the event a
rider has a medical reason as to why they must sit in the front seat, drivers are
to make their best efforts to accommodate the rider. If the Rider is except the
driver will see exemption noted in the driver’s app under Trip Information.
Trip cancellation
In the unlikely event a rider who is not exempt
will not use the back seat, you have the right to cancel the ride, for your
safety and health concerns and the safety and health concerns of the other
riders.
Who is exempt from face coverings?
All riders are
required to wear face covering while on a trip except for those who are legally
exempt from the requirement if the rider exempt, they are exempt from Connect
Tnc’s requirement to wear a face covering or mask also, this exemption is
generally where or when it is not
