Seat Belts
Wearing Seat Belts
As prescribed by state law all passengers including drivers must wear seat belts at all times. If a member requires assistance in buckling or unbuckling their seat belt please do so with caution and letting the member know in advance you are about to buckle or unbuckle their seat belt before touching or leaning over them.
If a member refuses to wear seat belt, advise member the trip cannot continue unless they are buckled up and remain buckled through out the duration of the trip.
Transporting Children and Infant's
Children and infants must be restrained in a car seat or booster seat as prescribed by state law; members are required to provide their own car seat and booster seats, drivers are not allowed to use their personal car seat or booster seat. Allow parents or guardians to secure children into car seats and or booster seats.
Never allow a child or infant into your vehicle without a state approved car seat or booster seat.
Unaccompanied Minors
Children under the age of 17 are considered an unaccompanied minor and may not be transported without an adult. If you believe that the request was made on behalf of an unaccompanied minor please contact Ride Services.
Additional Passengers
Members are more than welcome to request a passenger to ride with them to their appointment please note that any additional passengers will be listed in the trip notes. if an additional passenger is not listed in the trip notes that passenger may not ride with the member.
