Driving Hours Limit
You should take a break whether you are
feeling tired or not. Research has shown that driving long hours without taking a break increases the
risk of an accident. Drivers need to be as rested as possible when out on the
road to help made the roads safe as possible for both drivers and riders. Feel
free to exit driver mode and take a break.
Time limits
As a Connect driver you must take a
full, uninterrupted 6- hour break for every 12 hours spend
driving. The 12hour mark in driver’s mode do not have to be consecutive.
What
counts towards my 12 hours of driving time?
Any time spent online
and driving with Connect Tnc counts toward your 12-hour driving limit. Any time
spent / engaged in driving will count, for example, when you are temporarily stopped at a
traffic light. If you’re online but stopped. (Waiting for a trip in a parking lot), that
time is not counted.
What happens if I am on a trip when I hit the 12-hour
limit?
If you are on a trip
that puts you over the 12-hour limit, you will be able to continue driving
until the trip is completed. After the trip ends, you must go offline and take
a break.
